Mary Hampton who was the widow of William S Godbe died yesterday morning at the home of her daughter 131 Fourth ... East street. She was 88 years old and death was attributed to natural causes. Mrs. Godbe was married in November of 1855 in Salt Lake to William S Godbe who was one of tho most prominent pioneers of Utah. Soon after arriving In Salt Lake he became a merchant and later he became one of the earliest advocates of developing the mining Industry..."
