He was a graduate of East High School and attended The Ohio State University. Bryce had a long career as a Journalist/Freelance Writer. His writing career began with The Ohio Sentinental and later included The Call and Post, The Columbus Post and The Amsterdam News and other publications in New York City. Most recently, he served as a ghostwriter for several well-known community and political leaders.
He was described by one as "a person with the God-given gift to capture in written words the thoughts of many." Collin loved life, music and good conservation.

Survived by sister, Mignonne Whitlow; brother, Colderick "Sonny" Bryce; many nieces, nephews and friends, especially Julian "Robbie" Robinson, Susan Gibler-Willard, Brenda Ritchie-Taylor and Kim Dunn.
