She was born and raised in Arkansas and graduated from high school there. After she graduated from high school, she moved to California where she worked for McDonnell Douglas for a few years. Betty was a devoted homemaker to her family and she lovingly raised her children. Later, Betty moved back to Lebanon and made her home.

In her spare time she enjoyed quilting, growing beautiful flowers, and spending time with her cat, “Fred”. One of her favorite things was fresh, fried catfish that Don would catch and cook for her. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her ninety-three years.
