Roland G. Lalone, 85, of 5 Kenyon Ave. died Sunday night in his home. He leaves a daughter, Ellen Cushman of Needham; a sister, Jean Faucher of Worcester; a brother, Marcel Lalone of Florida; and two grandchildren. His wife, Margaret T. (Noonan) Lalone, died in 1987. Born in Worcester, he was a son of Lavinous and Rose Lalone and lived here most of his life. Mr. Lalone worked in the heat treatment department at Wyman-Gordon Co. for many years, retiring in 1971. He was a longtime member of St. Stephen's Church. The funeral will be tomorrow from Callahan Brothers Funeral Home, Madison Place, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. Calling hour at the funeral home is 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. tomorrow. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial donations may be made to Elder Home Care Services, Memorial Contributions, 1241 Main St., Worcester 01603.
