Patsy Kamin, 79, of Marinette, WI passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016, after a wonderful life. She was born on April 23, 1936, to the late George and Elsie (Rader) Vogeltanz in Menominee, MI.

Patsy graduated in 1954 from Menominee High School, and then from The Green Bay School of Cosmetology.

On October 12, 1957, Patsy married Ralph Kamin at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Menominee. Together they had four children.

She always enjoyed spending time with her children and especially grandchildren and being involved in all their activities. Her smile and greeting, every time she saw you, will be always be remembered. She also enjoyed gardening, traveling, painting ceramics, walking, bicycling, and music. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Marinette, where she was active for many years with the choirs, gardens, cleaning, school, and many other activities. She was also a member of the BAMC Auxiliary and enjoyed working in the gift shop. She also cherished the monthly get togethers with her "club", which was a group of high school friends. She also worked for the Marinette School district for over 20 years and was best known as the "malt lady."

Patsy is survived by her four children: Pamela (Keith) Duveneck of Two Rivers, WI; Paul "Marty" (Kathleen) Kamin of Marinette, WI; Keith (Tammy) Kamin of Papillion, Neb. and Karen (Bob) Cole of Marinette, WI;
eight grandchildren: Annika (Stephen) and Karissa Duveneck, Heidi (Luis) and Kaylee Ninneman, Presley and Lily Kamin, Tanner and Barrett Cole;
and two great-grandchildren: Frankie and Gabby.
She is also survived by a brother, Jim (Pat) Vogeltanz; a sister, Evelyn Diefendorf.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph on June 11, 2006; her parents; two brothers: George and Robert; and a sister, Lois.

Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 20th from 4 to 7 p.m. The visitation will continue at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church-Marinette from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday. Funeral Services will be held at the church at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jon Tesch officiating. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery.
