Age 68 of St. John, IN passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Kathleen (nee Derdula); four children: Mark (Christina) Anthony, Laura (Edmund) Bukowski, Lisa (Douglas) Triezenberg, and Michael (Kelly) Anthony; six grandchildren: Nicholas Anthony, Emma Anthony, Ryer Triezenberg, Dylan Triezenberg, Bailey Whitehead, and Andrew Fieldhouse; two brothers: Larry D. (Barbara) Anthony and Keith D. (Jackie Brooks) Anthony; one sister: Marsha (Carl) Ostrom; Kathy's family: Diane (John) Kilarski, Roseanne Derdula, and Daniel (Azin) Derdula; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Bernard A. and Nancy (Baker) Dziadowicz, and parents in law, Walter and Helen (Boyda) Derdula. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, with a 10:00 a.m. Mass DIRECTLY at St. Casimir Catholic Church located at 4340 Johnson Avenue, Hammond, IN., with Rev. Keith Virus, Rev. William O'Toole and Rev. John Barasinski concelebrating. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Visitation on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Anthony & Dziadowicz Funeral Home, 9445 Calumet Avenue, (at 45th St.) Munster, IN. Mr. Anthony was a Financial Advisor with Waddell & Reed with 35 years of service. He was a Funeral Director since 1967 with the Anthony & Dziadowicz Funeral Homes. Tony was a graduate of St. Casimir Grade School Class of 1960, Bishop Noll Institute Class of 1964, and was in the Army Reserves. He attended Indiana University and Worsham College of Mortuary Science. Tony was loved by many and will be remembered for his incredible memory and gift of story telling. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed attending live events, especially those of his children and grandchildren over the years. Tony always looked forward to dining out with family and friends, and never turned down ice cream, popsicles, sherbert, or sno-cones. He shared many special moments watching the sunset over the lake in Saint Joseph, Michigan with his beloved wife Kathy. Tony/Dad/Grandpa will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Casimir School would be appreciated.
