Betty Meaders Kindrick, age 79, of Morrilton, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016. She was born June 21, 1936 at Center Ridge, the daughter of James "Jim" Meaders and Maudy Scroggin Meaders.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Harold Simons, her brothers William Earl "Bill" Meaders, Shelby Meaders, and James Henry Meaders, and her sister Frances Norman. She is survived by her husband Joe Kindrick, two stepsons, and two sisters.
She graduated from El Dorado High School and the Baptist School of Nursing. After earning her RN, she worked at hospitals in the Little Rock area and retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital in North Little Rock. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and several community and professional organizations. She was a kind and loving lady who will be missed by family and friends.
Funeral services at Calvary Baptist Church in Morrilton. Burial at Atkins City Cemetery.
