Beatrice was born Dec. 23, 1924, in Newark, NJ, to the late Julio and Philomena Guarino. She graduated from Arts High School in Newark. Beatrice lived for many years in Monmouth County, NJ, where she was employed at Fort Monmouth as an IBM operator.

In 1959, she married her husband, Jerry, and for many years they resided in Ewing, NJ. In 2004, she and her husband moved from their longtime residence to Jacksonville, FL, to be closer to their daughter.

Beatrice was predeceased by her son, Richard, who was a victim of Flight 93 - which crashed in Shanksville, PA, on Sept. 11, 2001. She was also predeceased by her brother, Julius. Surviving are Jerry, her husband of 55 years; her daughter, Lori and her partner, Ross; brother, Sal Guarino (Union, NJ); sister, Josephine Landwirth (Jacksonville, FL); sister-in-law, Jean Inverso (Robbinsville, NJ); many nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime friends.

Bea was a devoted wife, loving mother, and loyal friend.

Her true passion was caring for her family and maintaining a welcoming home full of beauty, warmth, and exceptional food.

Despite her severe vision problems, she courageously lived an active life, volunteered at Incarnation Church, and was readily available to help anyone in need.

She was the epitome of remarkable strength and compassion, especially after the tragic loss of her son. Bea will be remembered for her grace, charm, humor, and kindness that touched everyone she knew. She will be greatly missed and her beautiful spirit will remain in our hearts forever.

In memory of Beatrice, contributions can be made to a charity of the donors' choice.
