Martha M. LUNDGREN, 72, died Sunday, October 15, 2006 at Valley View Village, where she resided. Funeral services will be 12 noon on Wednesday, October 18 at Evangelical Covenant Church. Burial will be at Masonic Cemetery, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa.
Martha was born the daughter of C.E. and Kathleen GILL on July 13, 1934 in Dallas, Texas. She had lived the last 26 years in Des Moines, Iowa. Martha was a member of Evangelical Covenant Church and very active and supportive of the Downtown Kiwanis Club, Salvation Army and her many friends at Valley View Village.
Martha is survived by her step-daughter Doris NELSON (Dennis) of Arlington Heights, IL; grandchildren, Debbie LYKINS and Brian NELSON; great-granddaughter, Alexis; brothers, Charles E. GILL of Katy, TX and Eddie GILL of Houston, TX; and sisters, Joanne SHIPP of Rowlett, TX and Janice HOLTBERG of Thornton, CO.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald M. HULTMAN of Elgin, Oklahoma and G. Wallace (Wally) LUNDGREN of Des Moines, Iowa.
Her family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 17 at Iles Funeral Homes - Grandview Park Chapel and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorials may be directed to the Lundgren-Wistrom Memorial Fund at Evangelical Covenant Church or Valley View Village Guild.
