Nydra Ellen Rimm, beloved wife and mother passed away on December 21, 2015. She lived a long and happy 89 years.

Nydra was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. She attended Brigham Young University for two years as a music major studying the piano. She transferred to Franklin School of Arts and Science in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated as a Medical Technician in 1948.

In Philadelphia, she met and married her husband Michael Rimm. Together they had three children. Nydra dedicated her life to raising her children and managing family life. She was an enthusiastic partner in her husband's United States Air Force career and enjoyed traveling and living all over the world.

She was passionate about reading, swimming, traveling and collecting beautiful things. She loved music. She loved to play the piano and had a beautiful opera style singing voice. She loved her family more than anything.

In 1976, Nydra and Michael retired to Austin Texas. For 39 years they flourished among wonderful friends, enjoyed their lovely home and engaged a great Austin community.

In 2014 Michael Rimm, her devoted husband of 65 years passed away. She was the lone surviving child of nine children born to her parents Jarvis and Annie Hunsaker. Her siblings and both parents preceded her in death.

She is survived by her 3 loving children and her 4 grandchildren.

Nydra was cremated and will be inurned along side her husband Michael in Arlington National Cemetery.

Those of us who loved her are very proud of her. We miss her sparkly eyes and beautiful smile. She will be loved forever in our hearts.
