Roy graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School and then enlisted in the U.S. Army. After serving in the army, he attended Business College in Milwaukee. Roy worked for many years at Evinrude Motors. He returned to Sturgeon Bay after he retired. Roy enjoyed golf, fishing, and watching the Packers and the Brewers.
Survivors include his brother, Lloyd Alexander, Sturgeon Bay and a sister, Irene Tomski, Sturgeon Bay, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Martha Nelson and a brother Harold.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2016 at Corpus Christi Church, the Rev. Carl Schmitt officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
