On 13NOV2020 Olive was disinterred from her paupers grave located in the Mount Hope Cemetery San Diego CA. Her cremated remains were then interred with her husband's (Theodore B. Anderson) grave in the Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery. She was lost for 32 years and now rests peacefully with full Military Honors as she so justly deserves.
The "Bring Olive Home Campaign" began in the spring of 2016 with several individuals working different channels to gather support at all levels of government. But, it was not until the Spring of 2019 when the "Missing in America Veterans Recovery Program" took up the fight to bring Olive home that provided the expertise to make it happen.
Hopefully, by the summer of 2021, there will be a full military funeral with honors to honor a true American Hero! "Leave no one behind"
