On Monday May 11,1998 at the age of 91, Elizabeth Tassey passed away. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. John Morgan Tassey. She is survived by her son, John Sparks, sister, Gladys Sweeney, step-daughters, Norma Barnfield of Lafayette, and Betty Thompson of Cincinnatti, Ohio, and granddaughters, Leah Sparks Jones of Knoxville, and Becky Sparks of Brentwood. Graveside services were held on Wednesday at 2P.M. in Spring Hill Cemetery with Reverend Mike Waldrop officiating. In lieu of flowers donations could be made to The East End Methodist Church.
