Actress, Voice Actress. She began acting in 1938 with small roles in western features at RKO Radio Pictures & Paramount Pictures. In the early 1940s, her distinctive voice got her a radio contract and she appeared regularly on such series as 'One Man's Family', 'The Gallant Heart', 'The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet', 'The Eddie Bracken Show' and in the title role on 'Meet Corliss Archer'. She acted in several TV series, including 'I Love Lucy', 'The Andy Griffith Show', 'Get Smart' and 'Petticoat Junction'. In 1962, she started doing cartoon voiceovers with Judy Jetson on 'The Jetsons' and continuing to do voice work on several other animated series, including 'Penelope Pitstop', 'Shazzan' and 'Josie and the Pussycats'. She remained active into the 1990s on animated series, including a guest voiceover work on 'King of the Hill' and on radio in 'Adventures in Odyssey'. Waldo had been in poor health for the past several years due to an inoperable brain tumor.
