Born Adam Andrew Bellender on October 14, 1928 in Henderson, Colorado. Adam was married for 56 years to the love of his life, Phyllis Schwindt, who passed away in December 2006.

He is survived by his brother Pete and sisters Katie, Molly, Helen, Rosie and Virginia. Predeceased by sisters Mary, Annie and Gerty.

Adam is also survived by daughter, Terri Lynn Brown and son Steven M. Bellender, both of Prineville; granddaughters, Lindsey and Ashley; predeceased by grandson, Chris Bellender; survived by great-grandsons Andre, Travis, Riley and Eli; great-granddaughters, Abby and Hailey; and companion, Allene Noonan.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 26, 2016 at 3 PM at the American Legion, Post 104, 20325 SW Alexander Street in Aloha. There will be a military honor guard and 21 gun salute, with a potluck to follow.
