Eleanor L. (DiStasio) Hamilton, 87, died on April 24, 2013. She was born in Boston, MA the only daughter of Carlo and Ethel DiStasio, deceased; she commuted to Florida for 7 years and became a permanent resident in 2003. Eleanor was the perfect homemaker raising 7 children; her grandchildren loved her cooking and baking. She was also auxiliary treasurer for VFW Post 2831 in Hyde Park MA. She enjoyed working as a teacher's aide for ten years in the Boston school system. Retiring in 1985.
Those left to cherish the memory of this great lady includes her loving husband Earl W. Hamilton, 3 sons, Earl Jr. (wife: Karen) of Hyde Park, MA, Robert (wife: Roz) of Winthrop, MA, Colonel James (wife: Kerry) of the USAF, stationed in Stuttgart, Germany, 3 daughters Jane DeSarro (husband: Dave) of Worcester, MA Roberta of Austin, TX and Elaine (husband: Richard) of Englewood, FL, with 11 loving grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She will be sorely missed by all of her loving family and friends.
A Memorial Service is set for 2 pm, Tuesday, April 30th at National Cremation & Burial Society, 2990 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, FL. 34239.
