Preceded in death by parents William and Jennie Cooper; two brothers; two sisters; daughter, Sandra "Sandy" Fair.

Survived by daughter, Claudette R. Sutton; son, Bryan L. Cooper; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; former wife, Althenia Cooper; many other relatives and friends.
