Funeral services for Bentley Clookey, 56, of Remsen, formerly of Fort Covington, who died Saturday in Remsen, were held Tuesday morning at St. Joseph's church in Bombay with the Rev. Morris Dwyer officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph's parish cemetery. Mr. Clookey died suddenly from
a heart attack while watching the world series over television. He was born in Fort Covington April 28, 1902 a son of Isaac and Mary Clookey and had resided in the
Remsen area for seven years. He was employed by Oneida county as a laborer. He married the former Grace Phelix, daughter of the late Orval and Margaret Phelix of Bombay.
