Lefty was a longtime resident of Boothwyn before retiring to the Potnets Community in Millsboro, DE where he lived with his late wife Dorothy.

He retired from Congoleum Corp., where he was a member of the United Steel Workers Union. Lefty was a volunteer Fireman with Felton Fire Co. in Chester. He loved animals and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. Lefty was an accomplished baseball player who played for West End AA, Junior Delco Valley, and Local #10 Delco Valley.

He was a United States Army Veteran who served his country during the Korean Conflict.
