Maureen Driscoll, 79, of Manchester died Saturday June 25, 2016 at home.
Born in New York, NY, She attended St Simon Stock Grammar School in Bronx, NY and graduated The Assisium High School, Manhattan in 1954. She married the love of her life, Patrick “Joe” Driscoll in 1959. She resided in Manalapan from 1966-2002, and then moved to Manchester 14 years ago years ago. She was CO-Director of the Birthright, Freehold, an ER Volunteer and Auxiliary member at CentraState Hospital, Freehold.
She is predeceased by her husband, Patrick “Joe” in 9/11/2001 onboard Flight 93, and 2 brothers, John & Joseph O’Connor. Surviving are her 3 sons, Stephen of Jackson, Patrick of Freehold, and Christopher & wife Erica of Jackson, daughter, Pamela Gould & husband Thomas of St Charles, IL, 4 brothers, Thomas, Robert, Michael & Daniel O’Connor and 7grandchildren, Ryan, Rosie, Matthew, Emily, Carlee, Caitlin and Erik.
Visitation is Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Wednesday 10:30 AM at St Luke Church, Toms River with a private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Samaritan Center 211 RT# 522 Manalapan, NJ 07726.
