Walter Rusher was born October 19, 1929 in Pento, Georgia to George and Annie (Bussey) Rusher. At age 86, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio.

He retired after 34 years of employment at the Defense Construction Supply Center (DCSC), where he was affectionately known to his co-workers as "Everyday".

Preceded in death by his wife, Edna E. (Tanksley) Rusher; parents, George and Annie Rusher; brothers, Durrell, James, George, Vernon, Joseph, John Willie; and sister Annie Mae Vann.

Survived by daughters, Cheryl Rusher Havis, Evelyn Rusher, Michele Rusher; son, Jordan Rusher; grandchildren, Willie, Kylie, Phillip Havis, Elisha Jackson, Kenyante Watkins;
brothers, Cornelius (Mary), Robert Rusher; sisters-in-law, Mary Rusher, Mattie Miller, Mildred Wooden; brother-in-law, William (Beatrice) Tanksley; great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
