Jerry died peacefully at home on 9/13/2007 after an incredibly courageous battle with cancer. Jerry was born on August 16, 1957 in Seattle and grew up in the north Seattle area. After graduation from MLT High School, Jerry proudly serviced in the Marine Corps for several years. He loved his Corps. Jerry then went to work for Aurora Auto Wrecking and also served as a reserve police officer before illness forced him to retire. On 8/28/1990, Jerry received a heart transplant and 1/28/2005 Jerry received a kidney transplant. He cherished these gifts of life and truly appreciated each day.
It is well known that Jerry could fix anything and he loved the challenge. He found great joy in woodworking, hunting and fishing, the ocean and driving anything with tires and an engine, including the motorhome. He also found great joy in his friends and family.
