Helga was born on September 19, 1947 in Heilbronn, Germany to Thobias and Hildegard (Holzern) Nickel.
Harold and Helga got married on February 17, 1971 in Heilbronn, Germany. She was a dedicated military spouse. Due to Harold's military service, the family moved many times. In 1978 the family made Lawton their home.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Jenson, of the home; two sons and daughters in law, Eric and Laura Nickel, Delray, FL and Mike and Alisa Jenson, Lawton, OK; three daughters, Susanne Chillcott, Lawton, OK, Stacy Jenson, Norman, OK and Jody Moreno, Lawton, OK; three sisters, all of Germany; seven grandchildren, Christopher Nickel, Devante Jenson, Matthew Jenson, Yasmine Parks, Mikayla Parks, Roman Moreno, and Troy Nickel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a grandson, Giovanni Moreno.
Funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home with Gary Weise of Cameron Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma.
