Virgie A.S. Lamm, 76, of 254 Dreibelbis Mill Road, Shoemakersville, was dead on arrival Wednesday at 10:10 p.m. in the St. Joseph Hospital.

Born in Lower Heidelberg Township, she was a daughter of the late Charles K. and Eva A. (Bender) Staudt.

Her husband, Daniel B. Lamm, preceded her in death July 9, 1971.

She was employed 25 years as a school teacher, last working in the Hamburg School District, retiring in 1964.

She was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ, Shoemarkersville.

Surviving are two daughters: Dolores V., wife of the Rev. William A. Derstine, Wichita, Kan., and Dorothea E., wife of Capt. Robert H. Kreisinger Jr., Cape Cod, Mass.; six grandchildren.

Three borhters: Kermit B. Staudt, Sinking Spring R.D. 5; Elwood K. Staudt, Hamburg R.D. 1; and Arthur K. Staudt, Los Angeles, Calif.

Also three sisters: Edith E. Staudt, Laureldale; Elberta, wife of Amandon Lamm, Lebanon; and Thelma, wife of Paul E. Brown, Auburn, N.Y.

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Luke's Church, Shoemakersville, with the Rev. David H. Rapp officiating. Burial will be made in Hain's Church Cemetery, Wernersville. The Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, Wernersville, is in charge.
