Hildegarde H. Sieracki, age 87, a resident of Felician Village at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at St. Mary's.

She was born on June 28, 1925 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Anton and Priscilla (Klar) Bonin. Hildegarde was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1943. On June 27, 1945 she married Ralph A. Sieracki at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on December 28, 1998. Hilde was employed with Mirro Aluminum Company and at Color Craft of Manitowoc until her retirement. She was a member of the St. Therese Society of St. Andrew Catholic Church, St. Andrew Home School Association and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Council 710.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law: Robert & Marilee Sieracki, James Sieracki, Michael & Marilyn Sieracki, all of Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law: Suzanne & Thomas Frederick, Raleigh, North Carolina, Donna & Bruce Fehrman, Two Rivers; eight grandchildren: Sean (Kara), Brett (Wendy), Jason (Avonne), Nicholas, Lisa (Ben) Shea, James, Brad (Cynthia) Frederick & Bridget Frederick; eight great grandchildren: Brandon, Cody, Jordan, Kyle Scott, Shaylynn, Payton, Annika & Kyle Nicholas; two step grandchildren: Hallie & Valencia; three sisters: Charlotte Sobel, Mary Ellen Bonin and Judy Wind and Dennis, all of Manitowoc; and three brothers and sisters-in-law: J. (Don) & Janet Bonin, Manitowoc, Richard (Sonny) Bonin, Manitowoc, Thomas & Bonnie Bonin, Williamsburg, VA, and Dorothy Bonin, Milwaukee. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and brothers-in-law: Bernice & Donald Allie, Violet & Art Edinger, Richard (Chick) Sobel; a brother: Jim Bonin; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Raymond and Rosie Sieracki; and a niece: Mary Edinger Kornely.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2013, where a prayer service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friends may also call on Monday morning at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the prayer service at 12:30 p.m.
The family wishes to thank to staffs of St. Mary's Home and Holy Family Hospice.

The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

Hildegarde was an avid sports fan, cheering on area teams; the Manitowoc Chiefs, and especially the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. She was also a supporter of Roncalli High School sporting events during the 1970's.

Hildegarde participated in local cultural events, including season tickets for Masquer's plays and the Lakeshore Wind Ensemble. She actively participated in sheepshead card clubs and her husband, Ralph, often commented that she was a "very astute card player."

Hilde also formed many lasting friendships attending bible study groups in the area. Other favorite pastimes included the Lawrence Welk and Danny O'Donnell programs, bowling Thursday nights at Meadow Lanes, and pitching horseshoes with Ralph in the backyard.

Hilde assisted Ralph in building the home her family shared for 56 years located in Manitowoc. She and Ralph also built their "up north" home in Sturgeon Bay.

Hilde and Ralph enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with friends and family as well as local area bus tours. She continued to enjoy bus tours after Ralph's death, accompanied by her brothers, sisters and friends.

In recent years, Hilde's pastimes including lunch gatherings with the "43 Club", fellow graduates from Lincoln High School, daily Mass, and making her famous kitchen hand towel sets which she distributed among family and friends.
