Randy joined the Army Reserves in 1965. He worked in the shipyards in Sturgeon Bay and farmed for many years and was a school bus driver for Southern Door for over 30 years. After he retired, Randy worked with Quality State, Seidl Septic and at Jim Rose-Homemade Steel Furniture.
Randy loved bow and gun hunting, especially with his granddaughter, Courtney. Randy had many hobbies throughout his life, mostly baseball where he played many years and helped manage the Kolberg Athletic Club. He loved taking his granddaughter on vacations every summer.
Survivors include his wife, Lois; two daughters, Kim (Steve) Maedke-Shumway, Ellison Bay; Amy (Scott) Sacotte, Sturgeon Bay; one granddaughter, Courtney Sacotte; in-laws, Joanne (Phil) Chapados, Green Bay; Phyllis (Mike) Melotte, AZ; Randy (Sheila) LeDocq, Green Bay; Mark (Missy) LeDocq, Green Bay; Neal (Stacy) LeDocq, Forestville; Kevin (Tracy) LeDocq, Green Bay; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2016, at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Kolberg with Rev. Larry Zessin officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
