Ronald Lee Weber, age 72, of Sturgeon Bay passed away suddenly on Aug. 8, 2016 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. He was born on March 16, 1944 to Allen J. Weber and Dorothy (Pivonka) Weber in Sturgeon Bay. Ron attended St. Joseph Catholic Grade School and graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1962. Ron proudly served his country in the Army as an MP in Germany. On September 6, 1969 Ron married Marie Larson at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Ron worked his way through the ranks at Peterson Builders Inc. for 32 years until the company's closing; after which he kept himself busy working part time jobs of his choosing until 2012 when he officially retired. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, antiquing, history, Door County history, gardening and raising Black Labrador dogs. He really loved his muscle cars and his crowning jewel was his 1969 orange GTO Judge.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Marie Weber, daughter Beth (Mark) Chisholm, son Aric (Jennifer) Weber, grandchildren: Samantha Moeller, Jacob Moeller and Grant Weber; and Megan, his beloved Black Lab. He is further survived by in-laws: Ardy (Don) Lauscher, Lawrence "Pete" (Marlene) Larson, Rodger Larson, and Carole (Russ) Skovera.

He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, Thomas and Sophie Larson, brothers and sisters-in-law: Orville (Karen) Larson, Millard (Marie) Larson, Howard (Ruby) Larson, Sylvia (Al) Dix and her first husband Lawrence "Pal" George, Gerald (Pat) Larson, and Sandi Larson.

The family would like to thank Dr. Tomasz J. Michalski, Dr. Heather M. Stefaniak and The Golden Living Center - The Dorchester for care of Ron during the past five weeks and Russ Klister for his weekly care over the past year.

Forbes Funeral Home is in charge of private family arrangements. Memorials may be made in Ron's name to The Alzheimer's and Brain Research Center/ Alzheimer’s Association.
