DENNIS, RUTH BROADAWAY, age 69, of Birmingham, died August 2, 1996. She was a member of the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church. She grew up in Tarrant, Alabama. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Glover; a son, Robert Lee "Bob'' Dennis; two granddaughters, Twillia Gover and Sherry Bullock; two great granddaughters, Kelly Reid and Bridget House; two great, great grandchildren; a brother, William S. Therril. Funeral will be Sunday, August 4, 1996 at 2:00 P.M. at Elmwood Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, August 3, 1996 from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Elmwood Chapel is directing.
