Hamilton – Mrs. Ida Margaret Hamilton died at her home on Conesus Lake at noon on Tuesday. Mrs. Hamilton was the wife of Charles A Hamilton of Washington (DC) and Conesus Lake. She leaves besides her husband two sons, lieutenant Charles Burwell Hamilton of the 163d infantry and Captain George Wallis Hamilton, U.S. Marines, both of whom are with Gen. Pershing’s army in France. Mary E. Hamilton and Margaret D. Hamilton who with their father were at the bedside when the end came. Mrs. Hamilton, who was Ida M. Persons, was born in East Aurora, in which village she was joined in marriage to Mr. Hamilton in 1883. In 1900 they bought the property on Conesus Lake, which they have since made their summer home. The remains were taken to Washington D.C., yesterday afternoon and the funeral will take place in Rock Creek Cemetery in that city today. Mrs. Hamilton will rest by the side of her infant son who was buried there thirty years ago.
