The marriage of Miss Mary Elizabeth Hamilton and Roger Conant Barnard, of Boston, Mass., was solemnized Thursday afternoon at the "Bur=Geo=Mar," Conesus Lake, the country home of the bride's father, Charles A. Hamilton, of Washington, D.C. The wedding was a quiet affair, only a few of the immediate relatives and close friends of the bride and groom being present.
The ceremony, according to the Episcopal church rites, was performed by Rev. Frank Sterett, of Wilkes=Barre, Pa., Mr. and Mrs. Barnard left on a breif wedding trip among the Canadian lakes and after September 1st will be at home in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where Mr. Barnard is engaged on a large engineering project.
