HOGLUND, MRS. PATTIE B. age 81, of Fairfield, died Saturday, March 5, 1994. She was the daughter of the late Mayor and Mrs. Jap Bryant of Bessemer. She was married to the late Fairfield City Councilman Carl Henry Hoglund of Fairfield. She was a member of the Fairfield Presbyterian Church. She served in the Fairfield P.T.A. from 1954-1959. She served as Executive Secretary of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, and Secretary of the Fairfield Exchange Club for 16 years. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 8, 1994, at 2:00 p.m. at Angwin Mortuary Center Ensley Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Dr. Frank Alexander officiating. Angwin Mortuary Center directing. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Eric Wesley Hoglund, Sr. and Ann Lee Hoglund of Hoover; grandson, Eric Wesley Hoglund, II; sisters, Mrs. Kathleen Bryant Huey of Bessemer, Mrs. Eloise B. Crenshaw and Mrs. Jappie B. King, both of Birmingam; four nieces and two nephews. The family suggests memorials be made to the Fairfield Presbyterian Church.
