Luther Campbell, 82, a lumber salesman
for 20 years before retiring in 1963, died
Friday in a hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m.
today in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Campbell, a native of Colorado, was
a county resident for 40 years and lived in
the Kearny Mesa area. A Marine veteran of
World War I, he was a member of the
Carpenter's Union.
He is survived by his wife, Elnora; two
daughters, Mrs. Jean Stiles and Pauline
Campbell, both of San Diego; two brothers,
Dean of San Diego and Kenneth of Phoenix
a sister in Utah; four grandchildren, and by
two great-grandchildren.
