The Times Record, Troy NY Tues., 2 Sep 1958 The body of Mrs. Julia Penrose Archibald, wife of Dr. Harry N. Archibald of Cheshire, Mass., was interred yesterday in the Perkins-Penrose family lot in Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Archibald was the granddaughter of the late Ira Marin Perkins of Troy and owned considerable property in 6th Avenue, north of Hoosick Street. Mrs. Archibald died Saturday [30 Aug] at Pittsfield General Hospital where she had been taken earlier in the day. she was one of oldest members of the Arts and Craft Club of Adams, Mass., and had been a member of Stafford Chapter, OES, for 48 years. She and her husband observed their golden wedding anniversary on Sept. 10, 1957. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Dr. Frank W. Archibald of Lenox, Mass, a dentist with offices in Pittsfield and two grandchildren. Transcribed by Bill Preston #47695598
