February 22, 1842, died January 22, 1922, Royston, Franklin county, Ga. 3). William Scoggins b.about 1844. Only information on him he enlisted 28 May in the same regiment (6th) later, absent, detached as a carpenter. (Incomplete record) William's widow was Mary A. Scoggins. William is thought to be relative of John J. Scoggins. 4). Sarah Louisa Scoggins b.19th December 1846 died 6th of February 1939, Bowman, Elbert county, Ga. 5). Martha A. Scoggins b. February 1850. 6). George Scoggins born about 1855. 7). Napoleon Scoggins born about 1859.
