Evelyn M. Groman, 98, of Marinette, WI passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016, at the Luther Home in Marinette, WI. She was born on June 9, 1918, in the Town of Little River, Oconto County, to Fred and Bertha {Abel} Jandrey.
Evelyn married Arthur Groman on October 25, 1947, at St. John Lutheran Church in the Town of Grover. He preceded her in death on September 16, 1989.
In her early life, Evelyn worked at Lloyd Manufacturing Co. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Marinette.
Evelyn is survived by four nieces: Lois (William) Steinhaus, Karen (Arnold) Doehling, Cheryl (Ronald) Sommers and Kaye LaCombe; one nephew, Ron Seefeldt; many cousins, grandnieces and nephews and great-grandnieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; a sister and brother-in-law, Gladys and Harold Seefeldt; and a nephew-in-law, Steve LaCombe.
Friends may call at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church from 10 until 11 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. in the church with the Rev. Jon Tesch officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Marinette.
