Surviving are a son, Doug (Carmen), St. Marys; two daughters: Dianna (Joe) Bruns, Celina, and Donna (John) Bruns, St. Marys; and eight grandchildren, four step grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and ten step great-grandchildren.

Recently retired, he had worked at the Lima Refinery for 17 years. Serving two years in the US Army, he had formerly worked for Celina Police Dept. and Ringles Plating.
