Jane M. Gibson, of Greenwich, Passed away peacefully on August 10, 2016, she was 82. Born to the late Rose and Lawrence Sassone in Rye, NY on October 30, 1933. She graduated from Rye High school and became a homemaker. Jane was an avid golfer, bowler, dancer and loved to visit the casinos where she would play the slots. She was also very devoted member to St, Mary's Church. Along with her parents, Jane was predeceased by her husband Charles Gibson, Daughter in law, Philomena, a Grandson Andrew Gibson, Siblings; Millie, Josephine, Mary, Angelina, Annette, Trudy, Alec, and Michael. She is survived by her children; Charles(Henie) Gibson, Gail(John) Ortegon, Edward(Linda) Gibson, grandchildren; JC(Stephanie), Matthew, Lauren(Ricky), Samantha, Edward, and Jack, Step Grandchildren; Ruby, Novie and Ronea, Great grandchildren; Isabella, AJ, Mason and Talia, Step great grandchildren; Kerby, Hazel, Nikka, Milky and Gabriel and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Fred D. Knapp & Son Funeral Home, 267 Greenwich Ave. Greenwich. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday August 13 at St. Mary Church, 178 Greenwich Ave. beginning at 10 a.m. followed by an interment in Putnam Cemetery
