Beth A. Taylor Bertha, 42, of West Deer died Tuesday (December 31, 2002) in UPMC St. Margaret, Pittsburgh.
Born February 19, 1960, in Bellvue, she lived in West Deer all of her life.
She was a 1978 graduate of Deer Lakes High School.
For 25 years she was a waitress at various restaurants.
She was a member of Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church, Russellton, West Deer.
Mrs. Bertha enjoyed cooking and watching children play sports.
Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Douglas R. Bertha; two sons, Douglas R. Bertha, Jr., of Tarentum and Justin M. Bertha at home; a daughter, Stacey L. Bertha at home; her parents, Robert P. and Amy E. Barngrover Taylor of West Deer; a brother, Robert P. Taylor, Jr., of Conn.; two sisters, Laurie Austin and Amy R. Taylor, both of West Deer; and her maternal grandmother, Betty Duffy Barngrover Blazer of West Deer.
Friends are being received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:45 p.m. Friday in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Rd., Russellton, West Deer, where services will be at 8:45 p.m. Friday.
Private burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer.
