Miss Edna A. Dunn, 89, Montgomery, died at 5:30 a.m. Monday June 26 at her home. The funeral was held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic church in Barr township with Father Joseph Clauss officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, at the Titzer Funeral Home Loogootee, and a parish rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born August 10, 1899 in Daviess County to Frank and Margaret Walker Dunn. She was a housekeeper at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Barr Township and played the organ at St. Mary's for over 50 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church of Montgomery, the Legion of Mary and Altar Society. Surviving are three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Delphie Spoonmore, Brownsburg, Mrs. Norbert (Cleo) Strange, Brazil, and Mrs. Mary Strange and Bernard Dunn, both of Loogootee. Two brothers and four sisters are deceased.
