Margaret R. Pryor, Formerly Of Highfield, Had Been In Ill Health.
Margaret Ruth Pryor, 25, formerly of Highfield, was drowned Tuesday in the harbor near the Glenn L. Martin plant in Baltimore where she had been employed as a riveter in the wing plant.
Miss Pryor had been in ill health and worried considerably over an operation she was to undergo yesterday.
She was born at Highfield, the daughter of Hamilton and Margaret Fitz Pryor. Most of her life was lived at Highfield and for the last three years had lived in Baltimore. She was a member of the Bethel Church of God.
She is survived by two children of a former marriage: Sherrill Keane, of Lantz, Md. and Chester Keane of Baltimore, Md.; also her parents, and these brothers and sisters, Mrs. John Brown, Lantz; Mrs. Mervin Cooper, and Mrs. Lawrence Hershberger, of Hagerstown; Chester of Arlington, Va.; Robert, Jean, Staunton and Lindy at home.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the home of her parents with services at 10:30 a. m. in the Bethel Church of God in charge of the Rev. F. P. Brose. Burial will be made in Bethel cemetery.
