Actor. Born Gary Michael Dubin, he was an actor whose career in television and films span six decades. He was a seasoned child actor when he began appearing as Punky Lazaar, a friend of Danny's, on the 1970s hit show "The Partridge Family". His character recurred in a number of episodes from 1971 to 1974. Before "The Partridge Family," He had made appearances on television shows including "Family Affair," "Green Acres" and "Mod Squad," with his credits dating back to 1966. Among his notable early roles was a voice acting stint as the pampered kitten Toulouse in Disney's 1970 animated film, "The Aristocats". He would return to the big screen in 1978 in "Jaws 2," playing Eddie Marchand, a teenager who was one of the giant shark's victims. He continued to act throughout the '90s and until just a few years before his death. Among his later roles were appearances on "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "The District." He also provided voices for numerous animated series and films during his career. He passed away after a battle with bone cancer.
