NILES--Harry R. Reese, 78, of 213 Twelfth St., died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Trumbull Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for eight days.

He was born June 3, 1891, in Lee, Pa., a son of Edwin and Iva Leib Reese, and came to Niles in 1913. He spent 12 years in Lake Worth, Fla., returning to Niles one year ago.

He had been employed as an electrician for Republic Steel Corp., in Warren for 23 years, before retiring on 1957. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Jennie Price Reese, to whom he married Noc. 18, 1911; a son, Harry M., of Mineral Ridge, one grandchild and one great-grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Lou Woodward, of Girard, Mrs. Iva Yates and Mrs. Ruth Stiner, both of Long Beach, Calif., and two brothers, Charles, of Baden, Pa., and Edwin, of Girard.

Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Holloway and Son Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Darrell Bice, of First Baptist Church, will have charge of the services, and burial will be in Kerr's Cemetery.
