MISS REBECCA FORESMAN 96 POET IS DEAD
Author of numerous poems, died yesterday in Evanston nursing home. She formerly lived at 6019 Kimbark Ave. Born in Easton, PA, graduate of Wellesley College, Mass, 1884, & taught languages at Wilson College, Chambersburg, PA for a number of years. Survived by brother Hugh A Foresman, Chairman of Scott Foresman & Co, publishers. Services will be held today at 230 pm, Monday in Chapel at Oak Woods Cemetery, 1035 67th Street, Chicago.

On 1900 Federal Census, single, was a school teacher and lived with her niece, Sararel Menaul, and her family in Chicago.

On 1930 Federal Census, single, Age 69y, lived in Slippery Rock, Butler, PA. Her sister Mary Foresman (Bard) lived in same city and died a few years later in 1933. Prior to 1935, Rebecca moved back to Chicago, Ill.
