American Actor and Comedian. Meaney was a veteran stand-up comedian and actor who appeared in the 1988 Tom Hanks film 'Big' and on the 1990 sitcom 'Uncle Buck'. He began his comedy career in 1980 and saw his break come 6 years later with his first HBO comedy special, followed by his debut on 'The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson' the following year. He would go on to make dozens of appearances on television shows including 'The Late Show with David Letterman', 'Regis and Kathy Lee', 'Oprah' and 'Conan' among many others. He was also a prolific comedic voice actor who appeared on several classic animated series, among them 'Dr. Katz', 'Space Ghost Coast to Coast', 'Garfield and Friends', 'Rocko’s Modern Life', 'Duckman' and 'The Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue'.
