Daughter of George Noyes Talcott and Addie Jane Chambers Talcott. She married James Edward Marble on 17 June 1909 in Olympia, WA. To this marriage three children were born: Margaret Elizabeth, James Edward Jr. and Jane Adelaide.

Mrs. Viretta Marble
Graveside services for Mrs. Viretta Talcott Marble, who died January 9, at Olympia, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Terrace Heights Memorial Park. The Rev. Riley Johnson of St. Michael's Episcopal Church will officiate.
Mrs. Marble had lived in Yakima Valley 30 years. She was the mother of James Edward Marble Jr. of Goldendale and the wife of the late James Edward Marble, who was a Yakima County commissioner, county auditor and a member of the Washington State Legislature from Yakima County before his death in 1938.
Shaw & Sons is in charge of funeral arrangements.
