Harvey R. Tachick 79, Pound, WI passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday October 23, 2016. He was born October 9, 1937 to the late Edward and Bertha (Ermis) Tachick.

He served in the National Guard for four years.

On October 5, 1963 Harvey married Dolores Miller in Menominee, MI. She preceded him in death on September 30, 2015. Together they raised four children on the family farm in Pound.

He belonged to Safe Haven Church, Pound and the Coleman American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include four children: Phillip (Gina) Tachick, Suring, WI; Brenda Legois, Green Bay, WI; Daniel (Stephanie) Tachick, San Antonio, TX; Michael Tachick, Pound, WI; eleven grandchildren Tyler, Keshia (Ryan J), Whitney (Ryan G), Katelyn, Austin, Trenton, Evan, Addison, Carter, Sylvia and Ethan;
one sister Margaret (Alan) Gusick, Pound, WI;
one brother Robert (Mary) Tachick, Quinnesec, MI;
one sister-in-law Nancy Tachick, Pound;
nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers Harold and Alvin.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 10 am-2 pm Saturday at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman. Funeral Service 2 pm Saturday October 29, 2016 at the Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Kostreva officiating. Burial will be at First Baptist Cemetery, Pound.
