Leroy had been a resident of Monterey Care Center for the past year and leaves many friends there.
He was a retired printing pressman with Xerox Corporation. Member of St. Paul United Church of Christ of Columbus, Southgate Lodge No. 692 F&AM, Pressman's Union Local 62 and was a volunteer fireman of the former Marion Toenship Fire Dept.
Preceded in death by wife, Pauline Hettler, parents, Carl and Sophie Hettler, and brother, Carl Hettler.
Survived by son, Donn (Joanne) Hettler; daughter, Kay (Ronnie) Clark; grandchildren, Sherri Clark, Jeff Clark, Grinnel Clark, Ronnie Clark, Steve Hettler, Connie Hettler, John Hettler, David Clark, Cathy Clark; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Marguerite Donley; several nieces and nephews.
