John Hollinger was held Thursday in
Granville by Drs. Cook, Barnes, Follett
and Dr Mitchell of Newark, who
gave the verdict that death was due
to softening of the brain. T he deceased was born in Pennsylvania in
1858, but when very young moved to CrookVille. H e had lived in GranVille for one year He married twice
Mrs. Sarah Rexroth being his first
wife, while his second wife was Mrs
Sarah Lyons of Roseville, whom he
married two years ago. He was a
paper hanger by trade, but lately had
been working on the gas line. H e
also was a member of the Junior Order of American Mechanics. H e is
survived by two children, M rs. Orpha Kinney and Ray Hollinger of Newark. T h e funeral took place from his
late home on Grander street, the R e v .
W. H. Miller officiating. and the interment was made in Maple Grove
cemetery.
