David Frederick Christensen

David was born on February 13, 1938 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was the son of Linnea (nee Larson) and Fritz Christensen. He was a graduate of Harding High School and enlisted in the United States Navy after graduation.


He is preceded in death by parents, Linnea and Fritz. Survived by son, Steven (Lora); daughter, Kimber (Greg) Olson; grandchildren, Leah, Dylan, Kyle, Josie, and Connor; siblings, Phillip (Carol) and Miles (Cheryl); and nieces and nephews, Mark, Lynn, Ryan, and Kari.


Interment, service, and military honors at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Meet in Assembly Area #2 by 9:50 AM.

Note: His grave marker has AE2, which is an Aviation Electrician's Mate in the US Navy. Then it has USA, which indicates he was in the US Army. His obituary says he enlisted in the US Navy, therefore USN should have been engraved there.
