John Bland Harris, was born July 15, 1934 in Cambridge, Ohio. At 74, we went to be with the Lord May 4, 2009.
Graduate of East High School. 🇺🇸 Korean War Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Member of Triedstone Baptist Church where he served on the Senior Usher Board. Member of Al Brooks Post #157 of the American Legion for 16 years where he served as 2nd Vice and 1st Vice Commander and Chaplin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosetta Howard and Eddie Howard and sister Ruth Bristol.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Lena Ellison; sister, Ella (Jason) Lewis; brother, Cecil (Barbara) Howard; daughters, Tina (Timothy) Sweeney, Michelle Ellison Jones; sons, Timmy Ellison, James Burgess, Toby Harris, Dwayne Harris; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
